We all probably know the day that Is dedicated
to all the women, March 8. As a factor
of adding glory to the day, we the team members of PLASMA COMPENDIUM conducted
a FUN:D RAISER event in the basketball court of SASTRA DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY at
5:30pm.
The event very well started at 5:30pm with pleasant
songs in quite a number of languages as requested by the audience. As people gathered,
the fire began, the hosts were splendidly attracting the audience attention with
pretty cool Hero's dialogues. The event finally began with the team of female
performers, the NRITHYATHARANGINI who initially started with the classical and surprisingly
turned the western songs classical with their new innovators steps. The colourfull
costumes never gave the audience a chance to blink.
The next on our line was an OPEN MIC show, were
we had a pretty good number of volunteers. One of them was a open mic comedian
and the other was a team of three beat boxer who rocked the floor just before
the actual event. Then we took the platform as an immense opportunity to thank our
donors who kept our team high. We couldn't make the whole set of donors to turn
up but still we had a handful of them who accepted our invitation to the platform.
The event re-began with the unique
performance of one of the best mime time in SASTRA, the 7 SHOTS. The mime was a
guideline overview of road safety and the some of the careless ways on road
were cleverly pointed out. Every scene in the mime act did put us into deep thoughts
of how careless humans are. It's not just about the people who met accident ,
It's about the family behind them .
Next we had
a crazy dance performance by the team
Madhatters. The passion they have for dance could be inferred from that.Everyone
of us had an visual treat that eve. The whole team had a fabulous energy
throughout the performance that kept the audience engaged .
The most
important part of the event that is Thanking the donors .We took this
oppurtunity to thank the donors who came
forward to help the needy. They were invited to the event personally and were
felicitated as an honor and also that others would try to join hands when in
need.
